The headstock block has a built in shaft to acceopt and idler gear to enable the screwcutting gear train to continue to work. I have never come across another, an incredibly rare machine, and at the risk of repeating myself, these risers blocks are made and assembled by the original Nottingham factory. A must for any Myford lover who would like a 6.5" clear swing above the bed, so you can turn 13" diameter items above the bed, or more in the gap. VERY RARE, High Swing (Collectors look up) Myford ML7 lathe with original Myford Nottingham high swing raiser blocks for Spindle, tailstock & top slide. Perfect if you want something slightly smaller than an ML7. Excellent value for money, for a top quality mid size lathe. Good condition lathe, that does not seem to have had a lot of use. A super lathe for someone with a little bit less space. Also has a custom fitted Digital Read Out (DRO), and the desired long cross slide. Newton Tesla CL400 variable speed controller & motor. Has leadscrew handwheel dial, lathe bed blocks & leadscrew dog clutch. Just arrived, a really good original lathe. Later silver model with the later spindle bearings. Has the later forward/reverse & stop button switching unit. Can be supplied on a matching industrail cabinet stand if required. Does have some minor paintwork bubbles but nothing that will detract from basically a new machine. Less than 2 hours use, but to be honest, might never have been used, I can't find any swarf ! Very We have about 7 or 8 examples, some basic, some with a clutch, some with a Norton gearbox. Ideal for selling on line or shows/events.
